Accessible transport in Reservoir
Reservoir covers a big area with a lot of single-storey homes, long driveways and older residents who have stopped driving. It sits roughly between the Austin and the Northern, so passengers here are often splitting appointments between two health services.
Where we take people in Reservoir
- Northern Hospital Epping 185 Cooper Street, Epping North up High Street or Edgars Road. The Northern has the busiest emergency department in Victoria, so its outpatient areas are busy too — we allow time.
- Austin Hospital 145 Studley Road, Heidelberg East via Bell Street, for spinal, cancer and specialist clinics.
- Bundoora Centre 1231 Plenty Road, Bundoora Rehabilitation, aged care and community services — a short run from eastern Reservoir.
- Edwardes Lake Park Griffiths Avenue, Reservoir The path around the lake is flat and sealed, which makes it one of the better local spots for a chair or scooter.

Paying for your trip
Most Reservoir passengers pay one of three ways, and often combine them: NDIS transport funding (we invoice self-managed and plan-managed participants' plan managers directly), the Victorian MPTP card (50% of the fare up to $60 a trip, and it stacks with your NDIS funding on the same trip), or paying yourself at an upfront fare quoted before you book. Full detail is on our NDIS transport page.
Which vehicle will come
We send the vehicle that suits the trip — the Wheelchair Taxi if you travel in your own chair, a sedan or SUV for shorter trips, the People Mover for groups. Capacities are on the fleet section of our home page, or tell us what you need and we will advise.
